I will cherish these days, this experience, for the rest of my life. It was an honor to
Wow! What an unbelievable place and amazing scenery. I am so grateful for the opportunity.
Brian came in direct contact with the Theinert/Kestler family following the suicide of mutual friend and brother SGT. Michael Johnson on June 24th, 2016. After getting together we all wanted some time to together, and the Ranch seemed like the perfect place. Another 1-71 brother would join us when Brian suggested we invite out Chris who he had not seen since he put him on a medical evacuation helicopter in Afghanistan following an IED explosion that hit Chris' humvee. Through his trip to STR, Brian was able to gain strength, transition following the loss of his friend Mike, and reconnect with a fellow cavalry brother Chris.
Thank you for allowing me to experience a place with so much love and spirit. You can truly feel the restorative energy this ranch has.
I can’t wait to get back home and tell everyone about it.
